RacePal collects information about you, including information that directly or indirectly identifies you, if you or other RacePal users choose to share it with RacePal. The sources from which we collect this personal information fall into three categories: information you provide, information we collect automatically, and information we collect from other sources. For example, based on how you interact with RacePal and the Services, we may collect information when you track, complete, or upload activities using the Services. RacePal also collects information about how you use the Services. In addition, you may choose to share information about yourself, your friends, and your activities with RacePal.
We collect account information such as your name, email address, date of birth, gender, weight, username and password that helps secure and provide you with access to our Services.
Profile, activity and use information is collected about you when you engage in activities such as creating your athlete profile, adding race information, uploading activities from connected devices, creating race plans, viewing your performance analytics, or otherwise use the Services.
We do not track your device location. We only estimate your timezone using dayjs for time-based features in the Services. We do not collect or process precise location data such as GPS coordinates.
We gather information from race information, race plans, photos, and other content you create or share on the Services, including race details, goals, and training preferences.
We collect information from devices and apps you connect to RacePal in accordance with the consent you give when you authorize the connection to RacePal. For example, you may connect your Integrated device to RacePal to sync your activities and health data. The information generated from your connections with Intervals.icu, such as activity data, heart rate data, sleep data, stress levels, and other health metrics (if you have consented to processing of health information), will be passed along to RacePal. You may update your connected devices and apps preferences at any time in your settings.
RacePal may collect or infer health information, such as heart rate, sleep data, and stress levels. Certain health information may be inferred from sources such as heart rate or other measurements, including power, cadence, and weight or other indicators. Where health information can be used to uniquely identify you, it is considered personal information, and sensitive personal information under certain laws.
Before you can upload health information to RacePal, you must give your explicit consent to the processing of that health information by RacePal. You can withdraw your consent to RacePal processing your health information at any time.
When you subscribe to RacePal, payments are processed through third-party subscription management services that handle billing through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These services process and store your payment information in accordance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. They also log subscription events, purchase history, and subscription status to manage your subscription and provide customer support. We do not store credit card or bank information directly. We only receive information about your subscription status and purchase history necessary to provide you with access to the Services.
We collect information from your browser, computer, or mobile device, which provides us with technical information when you access or use the Services. This technical information includes device and network information, essential cookies for session management and authentication, log files and analytics information.
We only use essential cookies that are necessary for the Services to function, such as session management and authentication. We do not use non-essential cookies for advertising or tracking purposes.
The Services use log files. The information stored in those files includes IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. IP addresses may be linked to session IDs, user IDs and device identifiers.
We may collect information directly from you or through our service providers, such as when we collect your feedback through surveys.
